Glasgow_Transport Museum

The building, part of the redevelopment of the ship-building industrial waterfront is situated along the River Clyde and Kelvin, is conceived a sectional extrusion open at both ends, one addressing the city and the other the river. Its cross sectional outline resembles the city skyline on one side and a wave on the Riverside.
The design has been conceived as a journey through the exhibition spaces , providing a main completely column free exhibition space which allows outwards expansive views  over the surrounding river landscape and creating a seamless continuity with the river and the exhibits ( @ Zaha Hadid Architects).

L-shape house @ RAA Summer Exhibition 2012

L-shape house_This project is based on a 3 bedroom family house design in Austria with a view to a lake.
The house plays with the idea of transparency vs opaque spaces where as the transparent elements represent public spaces within the house - i.e. living/ dining room, kitchen, internal courtyard areas and the opaque elements the more private - bedrooms & bathroom areas. The aim was to blur the physical boundary of the site whilst introducing the perception that the lake is continuing within the site boundary and form the pool, and provide reflections and impressive views from the house to the lake.
The model has been selected to be exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts - Summer Exhibition 2012.
